Knights, Cavaliers, Maidens
Knights, Cavaliers, Maidens
Team, Active
Time - Short (5-10 minutes)
Group Size - Any
Equipment Needed - none
Get everyone to find a partner of a similar size and find some space, and designate a Person A and Person B. Once everyone is ready, the leader calls for a number of different poses that the pair has to get into. Over the course of the game slow pairs are eliminated and help spot other pairs falling behind.
The poses are:
Knights - Person A goes on their hands and knees, like a horse and Person B stands over their back like a knight on a horse.
Cavaliers - Person A kneels on one knee, and Person B sits on that knee.
Maidens - Person A carries Person B like a maiden (torso supported by one arm, legs by the other). Person A can also just hold onto a raised leg if they can’t carry their partner.
Reverse Knights - Like Knights, but with roles reversed
Reverse Cavaliers - Like Cavaliers, but with roles reversed
Reverse Maidens - Like Maidens, but with roles reversed
The leader usually starts slowly, allowing the group to get used to each position, before increasing how fast they call out each pose to see which pairs can keep up.
Last pair standing wins.
