Who Are We?

Youth Matters is the youth ministry outreach initiative at St John Bosco Parish in Engadine. Inspired by the founder of the Salesian movement, St John Bosco, Youth Matters welcomes all young people and aims to support them in their faith journey.

We run a variety of youth groups in the parish for primary school kids, high school kids as well as young adults, all of which is made possible by an amazing group of volunteer leaders, many of whom came through our programs and now give back to our community, some even on a weekly basis.

We are very blessed to be part of a Salesian parish, where the parish priest and community are incredibly supportive of youth ministry and all of the programs we run, which allows us to run our ministry in a way that empowers young people to be responsible for how we run our various groups. Through our work, we hope to be a welcoming Salesian community where young people can explore and grow in their faith.
