Activity Day FAQ

What to Bring

Devices

Electronic devices (e.g. phones) are permitted on the Activity Day, but we encourage kids to leave as much as they feel comfortable with at home. Children bring their devices at their own risk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is in charge?

Youth Matters is in charge of organising and running the day, overseen by our Parish Youth Minister, James. Trained leaders from our Salesian Leadership Team will be running the activities and events throughout the camp. These leaders are passionate about accompanying and encouraging the children in a positive and Salesian way.

Is it Secure?

Supervision is organised for the duration to ensure the safety and protection of the children. The Primary School is fully enclosed by a high fence line and there will be no public access to the site during this time. Further to this, each leader will have a role to make sure all children are accounted for throughout the day

Are there alternative payment options?

The method of payment is through the parish website - https://www.bpoint.com.au/pay/engadineparish?billercode=1978907

However, if you would prefer we can also accept cheque or cash delivered in a marked envelope to St John Bosco Parish - 50 Waratah Road Engadine.

You will receive more details on how to pay through the registration form and confirmation email.

Can I get involved?

While we have a great leadership team, we always welcome any help offered. The most useful time is at lunch time with preparation, serving, and clean-up. If you would like to help please get in touch. All parent volunteers require a WWCC (Working with Children's check).

Is lunch provided?

Yes! There will be plenty of food throughout the day, so your child will not require snacks.

What if it rains?

The Activity Day will still continue in wet weather. We have use of the Hall should we need shelter from serious weather during the day.
